Spanish 3 (Hernandez) Class Projects 2016-17
Students researched a Hispanic artist and used their creative writing skills to develop a written interview, in Spanish, between them and their artist. Lastly, the students created an interpretation or a duplication of one of his or her works. They presented their works in class and described the selection and creation process, in Spanish.
Students were assigned a country of the Southern Cone region of South America—Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, or Paraguay—and had to work in small groups to make a mural that incorporated 10 symbols that represent the culture of their assigned country. Afterwards students made a presentation using VoiceThread explaining the different elements of their mural as well as the creation process.
